Mr Pip Review

Although this book is descriptive and exciting at the start, I cannot say the same for the ending.

Personally, I feel that the death of Mathilda's mother was totally avertible. If I were the mother, I would have kept my mouth shut. Why would anybody confess that they had witnessed the brutal death of Mr Watts, when the risk of death seemed certain? Furthermore, after noticing Daniel being led into the jungle because of the deadly confession he made, Mathilda's mother choose to repeat it, leading to her unnecessary yet avoidable death.

Apart from this crucial point, the overall ending story line was okay.
